Saw this and began to worry. We've lost two sets of helicopter crews in the last week. Very sad to see this. RIP |
Holy ****!
Hope you are well Keith! |
Was he one of the crew?
|
Can someone try to call him?
|
Says he is currently looking at his build thread.

Hey guys im okay, dealing with a heavy heart from the loss of a close friend flying an aircraft im responsible for. Lots a lives changed last night, thanks for your concerns for me. I would have responded earlier but with us trying to get out of the field with bad cell service, coupled with the craziness at the moment. Again thanks for your thoughts

Very sorry to hear that Keith.

Very sorry for your loss.

Hey everyone I was conflicted on asking this but our company is having our wives provide things for the wives and families. We are also donating funds to help the family with any needs because the process is long before the army will establish that, this will help with getting anything they need. That being said the Army is doing its part and taking care of the families this is something we do for our military family. If anyone would like to contribute pm me or email me at [email protected]
We raised 1400 last night with a local biker organization and that was split between the two families, it just humbling to see complete strangers giving There will be a site established soon so once I get that info I will post the info as well.. I'm not spear heading this just helping since its so close to me. Thanks up front |
Email sent.

Alex and I had friends in common Keith. Was he one of your pupils?
His hometown is very saddened by all of this. David |
Keith
I'm on board and would like to contribute. Please post the site as soon as it is up and running. Glad we had a chance to talk earlier today. Paul |
Paul thanks for your call and concerns always help to talk.
Falcon small world man and sorry for your loss as well, Alex was not a pupil, I only flown with him once when I was conducting a test flight. I would have soon since he was getting looked at for Pilot in Command, we talked some around the officer but anyone who knows Alex knows he is a silent professional! Kevin I actually met when he was in flight school, I was teaching at Rucker and gave him his basic combat skills check ride. Then a few months later when I showed up here he was here in my company, I flew with him all the time in Afghanistan and helped him make pilot in command. Kevin was set to attend the maintenance test pilot school in just a few months, he was perfect for it! Loved to work on things and tinker, both were young and bright eyed aviators always up for learning from us old crusty guys. Here is a link to a story done by a news channel from I believe Kevins own home town. This will give you some back ground on these fine soldiers, I am also posting the link to the Donation site. All donations will be split between the two families to help during the hard times to come. Our company used the same site for another of our pilots who got cancer last year, huge success!!! It really helped them with travel cost and hotels while he traveled to doctors in Texas. Again thanks upfront http://wkrn.com/2015/12/04/pilot-kil...sh-identified/ Donation site https://www.gofundme.com/qmdet8wc |
Donation sent, Keith. You're a good guy for helping the families.

I just wanted to pop in and say thanks to everyone who has donated, it has been surprising to how many people respond to help complete strangers. thank you all
