Well it wasn't as "easy" as I had anticipated.
After getting home and trying to install the gear, the main's actuators interfered with the forward wing tube. I had to reposition the actuator (not ideal) which required additional pieces to be made to secure the actuator, and also "modify" the flex plate and mount. The good news is...the nose gear was a drop-in fit! I did get three flights in today and they did great. It's so nice not having to deal with air!! http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2140561http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2140565http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2140566http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2140567 |
Looks good George. I see you had the right channel on!

LOL,
Thanks Marty!! The actual gear conversion was easy, it was the brakes that ended up being an issue and required some "machining" of the brake hubs and discs. |
