DX-18 Elevon travel adjust

I can't figure out how to set the elevator and aileron full travel values and get them to be the same on both sides... If you go into the aileron travel it sets one side correctly but not the other, and if you go into the elevator travel is sets the other side. Which is fine, but the elevator both sides have to be more than the aileron both sides... I'm confusing myself just trying to explain it... I hate to think how confused you are trying to understand what I'm saying..
I need 40mm elevator and 30mm aileron... How do I make that happen??? The radio is set to Elevon, the directions of travel are correct. I just can't get my throws set.. It's got to be easier than I am making it... :(

CARF Euro.. No gyro... It's not letting me adjust elevator and aileron together on both sides... If I adjust travel on aileron it only adjust one side, and elevator on the other side... If I raise travel on aileron it should increase on both sides.. and it's not.. only one side. same for elevator, but the other side.. The monitor shows left and right aileron. with elevator command the monitor moves them opposite, with aileron command the monitor moves the same direction... but the airplane is correct... LOST.....

Thanks Kris, I'll take all the help I can get.. It's got to be simple, I'm just missing something..

I don't have my DX18 anymore but if it doesn't have an actual menu that allows you to adjust the mixing values of Aileron & Elevator about all you can do is adjust for equal up/down on RAL and LAL using the servo travel adjust settings and then use aileron dual rates to set aileron travel and elevator dual rates to adjust elevator travel.

Hopefully someone will have a better answer for you..

Use the balance feature in servo setup. Acts similar to a matchbox

I think I have figured it out.. At least the result is what I'm looking for. I set the travel adjust on both elevons to the amount for full up elevator. Then I went to dual rate and lowered the aileron value to the amout needed.. The aileron dual rate switch is in the usual location with 3 positions. I can actually set different rates and then after getting it the way I want, set all three the same or move it to a less obscure switch. If I inhibit the switch then the values I selected go away and goes to full travel like the elevator. This will work fine. Thanks for the help, and if there is a different way to do it, I'm all ears !!! :)

Cheers,
Dan

You might want to consider dropping Andy Kuntz a PM.. He is a whiz at these unique setups.
