Fly it if your planes crashes = clone

Don't have to crash it to find out. One can do a full range check (i.e. 0.6 miles distance between Txer and Rxer in normal transmitter mode.) Or, ... if what your getting is orange, it is for sure a knockoff.

Knockoffs can be good for park fliers. I have seen several work out well. Personally, I would not trust them for controlling anything worth more than a couple hundred $s.

some friends use the $5 orange Rx but only for foamies and park fliers.
