K-160G vs Cheetah SE

Anyone know why Jet International magazine didn't have the Cheetah in the comparisons when they tested the K160G? I'm sure I'm not the only one looking at this comparison. Florida Jets is here & I'm looking to pick one of these sized turbines up.

Jose will be at FL jets as I'm sure you know that answer any questions. I have been looking at both myself for a current project.

Which way are you leaning Fender?

Im sure both are fine. However I would take the new Cheetah in a heartbeat. I got one of the prior ones (31 Lbs). Excellent turbine, and the new one does 36 Lbs.

Jet Centrals new SE electronics are going to allow them to introduce added technical features, I have been told that they will be displaying some of these at FL jets.
It has been announced that they already have the Telemetry options available and the new HDTdisplay is very impressive.

Other features include a micro SD card slot that can be used to download all of the parameters, these then can be e-mailed to the service rep or factory for analysis in case of any local operational/performance issues.

Jet Central has been very aggressive in it's quest for technical innovations.

Yeah, thanks guys. I am leaning towards the Cheetah. It's definitely the turbine that excites me more.
If I do it, it will be my 1st JC turbine.

There will be stock on the new Jet Central engines at Florida Jets. Every engine size should be on hand to sell. There will be limited quantities at the event.

Is the PowerPack ECU software still made by Xicoy or does Jetcentral now have their own proprietary software? What does the PowerPack unit weigh?

It is a new proprietary software.

I finally got to give my new Cheetah SE a flight this past weekend so I cant give performance thoughts yet but I will say their new software for setup and testing features is super simple and extremely user friendly. I hope all turbines end up with this type of programming.
