Graupner MZ-24 : Good enough for Jets?
Hi
My friend is assembling a Futura 2.5M. His only radio is a Graupner hott MZ-24. He is wondering if there are any experiences with using this radio in a turbine model? He is aware that the receiver does not know its on a jet (LOL), but still want to survey if people generally trust it for an expensive plane. Any experiences or watch-outs? Thanks! |
I had mz-24 before getting Jeti. I would trust it for jets, HoTT system is fairly solid.

I've used Graupner radio's for 25 years now, first those built by JR (MC18, MC20, MC 24), and since it came out the MC32 Hott (SJ built). Solid, no nonsense programming, no problems whatsoever with this system. I use this single transmitter for all my planes, from a foamie to my SM Tomcat.......

Several guys at our field have them. Never any problems.

I have the MZ-18 and its been solid as a rock.. 9 control channels, but upto 16 channels at the rx end and can be split across to receivers..
