Lambert turbine with mini avanti?

I have purchased a mini avanti and looking for the right turbine engine to install. Is anyone flying one of these with a lambert turbine and if so what size turbine are you using. I am considering a Jetcat P20 but the videos I watched make me think the P20 might not be enough. I need to be able to takeoff from a 400' paved runway and want descent top end. I had a Habu with a P20 so I am not new to the small turbines but want to make a good decision about an engine for the mini avanti.

A couple of other questions:

How do they compare in weight to the Kingtech k45.
Are they kero start with built in valves in cover?
Is fuel consumption lower compared to a k45?
Can anyone compare the throttle response to the k45?
Since I live in the U.S. how do I get the turbine serviced?
Lastly, are they readily available or will have to wait to get one.

I am looking for any information on these that someone can share.

Thanks in advance, Gary

What size is the lambert? 35? I bet that is perfect for the mini avanti. The K45 rocks, but I think you would get much longer flights with something more fuel efficient. Have fun, its a great plane.

What is your flight time with the k45?

Guys even the biggest Lambert motor the 50 is smaller than a k45 look here: http://www.hab.se/ShowSearchResult.a...string=lambert

right around 4:30 with a 30 oz tank. I did a build thread on the mini avanti here on RCU, might find some good tips on building it. Cool little plane for sure. I saw pics of the lambert 50, it was tiny! Just wondering about fuel consumption. I think a P20 is too small for this plane, the K45 is not recommended, but a bunch of us are doing it with no problems. I've done some pretty spirited flying and I haven't torn the wings off ;-)

I think a 35 would be perfect. enough thrust and hopefully less thirsty than the 45
