Buck
Jump on board. At that price how can you go wrong.
I got one. Yeah baby:cool:

yeahbaby 07-08-2016 04:35 PM

Nice work amigo!! Look forward to seeing it in November at Mesa. Peggy's are big motors amigo, I need to confirm space available. And 100 oz is about 5 min for that fire breather, so need to see if space available for addutional saddle tanks or gear long enough for centerline drop tank. Great price no doubt.

TonyBuilder 07-08-2016 05:09 PM

Will spare parts be avelible here in the us, tires mostly?

Thanks

TB

flejter1 07-08-2016 05:49 PM

Vettster,

Yes, It can be shipped VIA DHL straight to Canada as I have already sold 2 to your fellow Canadians. The plane comes with Gear & Brakes, Thrust tube, Fuel cell and hardware. The DHL mailed kits WILL NOT come with the air tanks, as they are banned from shipping and will be taken out at customs. We are looking into having them shipped to us separately and we will try to disburse them to our customers. At this time though, they will not have air tanks included!!! We have sold our allocated 12 but was told to keep sending sold orders as other countries might not be selling their allocation and we can sneak theirs. If they can not keep up with our demand we are looking at a 6-8week build, paint & ship time frame. We will notify you that you were put on the build list and will give you opportunity to cancel the order or keep it. We will not cash your check until it is ready to ship.

Regards,

Dirk & Barry

flejter1 07-08-2016 05:54 PM

Tony,

We are looking into keeping spare parts on hand in the future. Keep in mind, the factory will be fulfilling the sold orders as a priority and will supply us with parts when sales relax a bit. I'm sure you know our Customer Service at KingTech has always been a high priority to Barry and Myself and we will keep our same standards with the T one models and Skymaster products.

Regards,
Dirk

Thought so, thanks Dirk.

Buck here is a pic for you. This one has a K170 installed. I did have to trim the mounts a bit to shoe horn it in.

looking forward to picking one of these up. I read that there were some recommended updates. Will they be on the next batch?

Not sure what they will change but I do know they went to double control horns on all flight surfaces now so that will be nice.

OK the T1 is complete accept installing an xplus for the extra channels. Smoke system is all installed also.

Here is the cg and weight.. This weight is with a little fuel also because I just ran it. Has UAT full and about an inch in the main tank. She came out a little tail heavy even with everything up front but not much. I added a little weight to the nose. I see the flash messed up the pic.

Its 28.28 pounds

I got the Ferrari color scheme and I am putting a Kingteck K180 in since I have one needing a home. Use the extra thrust for up lines.

I used your cg 210mm back from leading edge.

you would find that it flys fine on that setting but would still benefit from going back a bit, i didnt check exactly (still tweaking) but im guessing im flying at 220mm and beyond now...

Does the Ferrari scheme come with all the decals? Has anyone tried this plane on a grass runway?

No decals that is all painted on. It has beefy trailing link gear grass should be fine

Johnny9390 07-09-2016 08:59 PM

What servos you JR Spektrum guys planning on using? I have a full set of 8411's but was told maybe the T-One could benefit from a little more torque on the elevators and flaps. 8611A maybe? What are your thoughts

Helijet 07-10-2016 05:14 AM

Use your 8411s. This aircraft is a mid sized jet and does not need servo overkill.
You will be perfectly fine.

Dean W.

kelly vallee 07-10-2016 05:30 AM

So we are looking at a total of 7 servo plus 1 servo for front wheel?

TonyBuilder 07-10-2016 06:21 AM

And air retract servo! 9 total

Although the rudder is setup for a JR8911/8711 size servo.

I love the looks of this jet. To avoid confusion can someone please post a list of the recommended servos for this plane and for what flight surfaces.

Thanks,

Patrick

8411's everywhere other than the rudder where a 8711/8911 fits.

i think 8711 would fit on all controls.

kelly vallee 07-10-2016 03:29 PM

What size are the main wheels? Are brake included with the landing gear and how good are they?

TonyBuilder 07-10-2016 03:33 PM

Yes it comes with breaks, see post 65!

So this is the second thread where the plane was assembled in like a week, and the only mod was to remove a little of the horizontal stab mounting? Is it really that good? I'm getting a little excited for this one. Please post some flight reports if you can.

Maiden went OK messed up and had the cortex on bank 2 so heading hold was on so it was a handful. Next 3 flights went very well! Plane has a super light wing loading.

The residual thrust on the k170 is almost enough to make it fly. So with this turbine its hard to slow down. The climbs are fun though .

Still getting the knife edge trimmed out along with gryo. Will do more flights tomorrow

rcpete347 07-12-2016 03:36 AM

Barry rang it out yesterday, great flight performance, slow flight was good( light wing loading), take off was short, a little to much power , Kingtech 170 was installed.
All in all , the T-1 jet made a great debute.

Check out my video, takeoffs are super short even with the 140SV !
this bird is LIGHT.

basimpsn 07-12-2016 03:39 AM

Hey Dirk can I purchase this Jet with the landing gear set? and what's the cost without? I have about 3 sets of full retracts stuts and wheel and brakes that could work on this Jet :) If the gear set is part of the combo.then I will still put one on order.

Thanks
