Thanks for the pics of the purple color, they helped solidify my choice. I initially thought the purple color may be too light for what I want but your pics show different than the web site. I am taking a serious look at these jets, still not a fan of these style of jets but they are growing on me a little. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunate) I have yet to land a job so no order for me for a while. It gives me time for the jet to mature (at least that is how I'm going to play it). I should be ready to order one when I do find employment. And since purple is my favorite color I will have my color already picked out.

What color did you get? PIX please
This could have been yours since I was next on the list after you. I also ordered with out logos and badging and was offered this one if I didn't want to continue waiting. I ended up returning plane to Barry and Dirk due to shipping damage and now waiting for replacement. I will say Dirk and Barry are the best when it comes to making sure everything is right! Just started a build on another T1 for a friend! These production T1s are a joy compared to the prototype I built first. Very happy with all the improvements. Its going to be another quick build because I'm strapped for time before Florida jets and have another plane to build.

Another T1 maiden. 2 nice flights. Smooth, stable, and slows down nicely for landings. Well worth the wait.
|
So anxious to get my T-One.....
So tired of flying the rock with wings called a Boomerang. |
Some more flights today. I love this plane. I will have it at Tucson
|
Bobs flies great just like Tonys,
Maybe Ill get mine soon Today made 6 MONTHS since I paid for/ordered mine, that was before the price increase, and the notice that there would be delays |

Well hopefully we will be saying that here in Texas as we have two currently flying!
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2201800 http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2201801 Just messing the "purple" one  I was keeping an eye on Bobs Jet as he has no wheel covers and he has the modified gear with die springs. When he hits the breaks during taxi, his struts dampen and come right back up, as they should! When he lands I can see his struts compress and dampen his landing and come back up fully extended, mine are working great too. This is how they should work sports or scale! Now come on and get that purple jet on the road! TB |

Pete mine had the same but was able to polish them out. Spent more time on the more visible areas like the canopy and nose.
|
+1. They need to pack in soft foam like Boomerang jets rather than bubble wrap

This is a normal thing for most kit manufacturers that use bubble wrap direct on the painted product. Most spray on car polishes and a fiber cloth will take it right off. I have seen other company use a thin layer of soft foam like material and then bubble wrap.

On the list to be on the list. Is it just me or has the price jumped in the last few days? I frequent the site daily to drool over the T-1 and remember the price being closer to $1900, now it's $2300.
|
Supply and demand!
TB |
Hmm Pricing has not clanged at all. The 2300 is custom paint and the other are like 1899....
|
|
Hmmm... it went back to $1890 for me too. Must've been some glitch.

The brain will do that...how old are you? JK
