These skis were purchased from www.maidenusammp.com but the website does not seem to work now.

As far as what plane to use. Weight is a big deal on snow so you will want a fairly light aircraft with a lot of wing area.
I sealed off the wheel wells and nose gear wells with the colored tape the comes with a Zagi airplane kit. You do not want to pack snow into the wing or front of the fuse. Other than that there is not much difference than flying off grass.
I would not recommend skis on hard pack snow or ice, there will be no way to stop or steer. I have used wheels on solid ice and they worked fine.

Easy to do, and steering is no problem. Just install a skag, just like a snowmobile ski, on the bottom of the nose ski.
