T-33 Thunderbirds color scheme question
 

I have an Xtreme ARF T-33 coming in and I want this plane to be in the white "Thunderbirds" color scheme. Since I need to give the factory I specifics on what colors to use, I am wondering which colors the full scale plane has. The areas in question are the nose section (I think it's a glossy black) and the tip tanks (I think it's a glossy dark blue but could be black also).

Any ideas?

Thank you for your input guys, but the pictures you were referencing to are showing the silver Thunderbirds scheme, but not the white!

Hi Thomas-
The white Tbird scheme is a favorite of mine. To the best of my knowledge, the black on the anti glare panel up on top of the nose should be flat black, and the scallop on the fuse side and tip tanks is dark navy blue, in gloss.
Just curious-Did you consider the Fei Bao Tbird as well ? They are the same size I think. Thinking about one myself and was wondering what you liked about the Xtreme Arf.

The FeiBao and Xtreme ARF T-33's are actually coming out of the same molds, however, the build quality of the Xtreme ARF is a little bit better. Also with Xtreme ARF you get more say when it comes to the paint job. I opted to have my plane weathered and I can also freely select the colors.

Dont thinkhttp://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2208477 the TBs ever used a white one. However there have been a couple of private T-33s on the airshow circuit in the "white" TB scheme. Many years ago I had a BVM T-33 in the white Mad Dog scheme. The jet was destroyed and the pilot killed at a Selfridge ANGB show in the 90's

Yep. I flew a BV Tbird in that scheme. He sent me pix of his jet just prior to his accident. Sad.
