I still remember clear as day when I saw Concorde at Oshkosh 1986... They were doing a speed run I think from ny to Oshkosh... the plan was just to come make a full stop landing...
When the capt heard and saw how big the crowd was he did a touch and go ( to stop the clock on the speed run)

I was front row watching that full afterburner touch and go..... Best part was the runway was I think only about 7000 ft long...
