Fitting servos in a composite tail

I was asked to fit some servos in the tail of a SM Dragon. The horns that come with the model are poor, so new ones were made. The owner said he didn't feel confident on how to find the horn hole etc-so thought I'd show my method for people with less building experience.

The servos need mounting in from the root, so everything is blind.
Once the servos can be positioned the root of the tail can be used as a reference line. Also using a cardboard template to find the servo mounting surface. The two can be referenced.

I have a cut off servo arm for most types I use, this allows for the various off sets. On this model the nylon arm has the ends highlighted to make it easier to see through the initial slot cut.
