install remove horzontal without pulling pipe
 

I have an early Aurora. Having to pull the pipe to access the horz retaining screws is a hassle.I developed a retainer and guide tube to make it external with very little showing outside the plane.Shown below is a 12 inch Allen screw driver engaged across the fuselage and then the opposite side. Only one small screw and one small hole shows on each side and that could be reduced to only one side. Anyone interested?

CharlesLate versions of the Aurora did put the attach screw through the bottom of the stab into the mounting tube. x
