Turbine installation advice needed.
Hi,
l am installing two 6kg size turbines in an A10. I'm using 6 mm lines from breathers rite through the pump inlets. Both turbines will be independent. One tank one turbine etc. will I be OK to run 4 mm from pump outlet to turbine considering my pump will be close to the front of aircraft and engines obviously at the back or should I run it back up to 6 mm all the way to the turbine before reducing it to 4 mm. i realise this question has probably been asked before but I am not sure on the best way to go about this. I also was wondering what everyone has been using to remove glue from fuselage. This is just glue that is left behind from tape and it's not epoxy. In the past I have used a little methylated spirits diluted with water but wonder if anyone has any great ideas they would like to share. |
Goo gone, awesome stuff and won't mess up paint at all.

Just use fresh tape, stick it over itself again and again and the glue from the new tape will take off glue from the old tape. When you neck down 6mm to 4mm it is just like running 4mm the whole way, you will gain nothing to run 6mm.

Thank you big fred

4mm will be fine for 60 turbines

It's actually more important to get a good feed line into the pump with smooth run and no joints from air trap.
