Had my new to me Aviation Design F16 delivered this past week, thank you Dean, and had to take a picture of a Fighting Falcon with my Peregrine Fighting Falcon, figured it was almost necessary!

Awesome pictures! That's a very serious look he is giving us on the second picture, it almost feels like he is saying, DO YOU WANT A PIECE OF ME ? Hey? Nice airplane too :)

Wow ! Just Wow ;-)

Ruizmilton 12-15-2017 12:39 PM

When you say new, you mean new to you right? I always wanted one, but has been discontinued for a while...

BarracudaHockey 12-15-2017 01:20 PM

Two birds of prey but one looks pretty damn angry or maybe just hungry!? Cool.

Jeremy! You just won at life my friend.

Best. Pic. Ever.

Pylonracr 12-16-2017 07:21 PM

Jeremy, cool looking 16...... Beautiful Bird. He looks like he wants to bite my finger off and spit it back at me, but he is beautiful.
I raised an orphaned Timber Wolf for about 16 years until she left us and she was my best friend.

Indeed, I have lots of birds actually, a Peregrine Falcon, Gyr Falcon, Lanner Falcon, Saker Falcon, 2 Umbrella cockatoo's, 2 indian ringnecks, 1 blue throated conure, 2 java finches, 2 budgies, and this girl is with me for a few months, a female golden eagle sadly hit by a car and completely blind. All of the birds I listed before are mine and my wife's, the eagle belongs to a raptor center I help with and I'm taking care of her through the winter. I have had a Bald Eagle in the past as well. I do quite a bit of wildlife rescue, primarily birds of prey.
But if I had an F15 I could take a pretty rad picture wouldn't you say? haha.

Pylonracr 12-16-2017 08:28 PM

WOW, She is even more beautiful than the Falcon. Keep up the good work. Anything we can do to help, I am quite involved in Wolf rescue. Sometimes they need our help.

Nice Jeremy. I am very impressed. Raptors have always fascinated me.

Jeremy I take it you're a Falconeer? ....that hobby is in my bucket list. I want to go to a bass tournament on a canoe and have that thing bring me large mouths. LOL

FalconWings 12-18-2017 04:48 AM

BTW, if you ever need a new Falcon, there are 4-5 near my house all the time. Question is how to get them off the light posts! Red Tails too.

SECRET AGENT 12-18-2017 09:36 AM

I almost hit a bald eagle with my car the other day, dang those things are big! Also had one land in a tree near me while bowhunting in a tree stand. It was making very a very un eagle like call, kind of like a high pitched staccato. Weird.

That is a typical bald eagle call. What we hear in the movies and on TV from eagles is actually a red tailed hawk usually. Eagles don't have a very majestic call, they sond a little goofy when you realize it's actually an eagle. You expect more from a bird that big. They are big though, I had a juvenile bald for a while training it, she had a 6 1/2' wingspan which is very large for a bald eagle. We have thousands of bald eagles around here, maybe not quite alaska thick, but depending on the area you will see upwards of 1000 at a time certain times of the year. They scatter the spawning grounds and certain landfills thicker than the seagulls.

Wow, cool. Glad to hear from an expert that I wasn't dealing with a mutant bald eagle, Ha! Gotta say, I was feeling mighty intimidated with him looking me up and down!

Yes, I became involved in Falconry 5 or 6 years ago. The last couple years I've spent a lot of time doing raptor rescue as well though. Cuts into the flying time but with all the wildfires we had this past year we weren't flying jets anyway. Love the falcons, they are amazing birds.

This was my bald eagle, just 2 years old when I had her, was in training for educational programs but she was far to aggressive, she's now at a large raptor center in Quebec in a huge flight pen. Unfortnately the breeders she came from were not ethical and they hand raised her which resulted in an extremely aggressive eagle. I was the one person she would tolerate. Incredible bird but when a 6 1/2 foot wingspan eagle is coming to land on your arm you realize just how powerless you are as a human being. She taught me more respect for animals than almost any other creature has. I get that feeling of intimidation!
