I rarely even go to the classifieds anymore. The amount of stuff (of interest) is significantly less than it used go be. i find it amusing that the old system was “broken” but yet worked phenomenally for 15+ years. Was it an ideal system code wise... no idea as fhat is not something i am familiar with. BUT it was an ideal system for the customers who used it, which is what “business” is about. If you give your customers something that is of poorer conceived value bc it makes the business owners life “easier” your going to lose customers and that is Exactly what i see happening here. While some of the IB people are doing their best to improve on the abomination of what we were given, its far from what we all expect and have been accustomed to receiving from RCU and the lack of participation and uprising of complaints is showing. Sometimes a little extra work on a owners part is worth it to keep your customers happy. |

In this day and age it doesn't matter where you go, customer service is lacking, no matter what the industry. Forums have by and large gone the same way. It's like the attitude of the admin is "let them complain, they aren't going anywhere and if we do lose a few we'll gain a few anyways". So you see it happening. Myself included. When all these changes took place I said I was done with RCU as did many others. I even stayed away for a while. But none of the other forums picked up. People can say the jet forum on RCG is great, there is rarely anything going on. I came back here because frankly it was still the best place for jet discussion. I do not buy or sell in the RCU classifieds anymore though, they have definitely lost me there. I browse, but I haven't bought or sold anything on RCU since the changes. I just think it sucks that the attitude is who cares what the members want, eventually they will get on board. |

the best update, would be an auction based software for the classifieds,
that is what the old system was, and there were valid reasons to be using that type of software for the classifieds, instead of just having the classifieds just be another forum section. |

At least I see they FINALLY put the start date under the thread titles. Now we know when a thread is ten years old before we reply.

But they lost the feedback,just noticed that non of the members have no feedback???? What is going on with rcuniverse?!?!?

Interestingly enough, I cannot find that page at all on mobile either so from my phone you can't find feedback at all. |
