I was also told that the main dubro tires will roll right off and that I should switch them over to harder Robart tires. I was a little skeptical, but by just tugging on the tires I could see that they can easily come off. |

Yes I agree with Edgar, I have used the tire CA by Bob Smith Industries and have had no problem with them slipping on the rim. |

Yes I agree with Edgar, I have used the tire CA by Bob Smith Industries and have had no problem with them slipping on the rim. I was thinking that I would have to use a razor saw to cut access for the turbines in the pods, but to my amazement, the whole inner structure comes right out with 4 bolts!! All the angles are worked out for you and mibo throws in a ready built FOD screen! |

i got an email from Bogo explaining:I notice your question on RCU regarding hatch pin of top of fuselage on A10. If you are building old "A" or "B" version is on pi attached standard antenna (see attached photo). If you will build new "C" version have all planes new ANR/BLOSS antennas which we designed so that is removable and covers hatch pin.

I thought my fowler flaps were a bit sticky. I used some dry lube spray on the rails and it really smoothed out the mechanism.
Transporting and storing a big A-10 is always a concern. I started with a stand which will eventually have 4 wheels, storage for both the fuselage and the wings(with ordinance) with the resting spots correlating with former positions for strength. A few other musts for my stand is to make sure I can get the wings on one at a time while keeping the jet stable (ie the jet won’t want to tip over), one wing can be stored with the aluminum/titanium phenolic tube already installed and the ability to cycle the gear unimpeded.
