Turbine and bifurcated pipe alignment

You guys have any special techniques for aligning the turbine to a bifurcated pipe or do you just eyeball it? Looking up the tail pipe is not the same as a straight pipe it seems.

Find a card tube that just goes inside the pipe and set the length so you can slide it inside an inch and have the tube protrude 1 1/4”. (30mm) it will get you much closer

I’ve got the spacing down. I’m referring about centering the tail cone of the turbine to the opening of the pipe,ie, left/ right and up/ down.

Yes, the tube allows you to judge the alignment.
