BVM Bandit MKII
After a few years in the box, six months ago the BVM Bandit MKII made it to the work bench at the "Rocket Factory". A lot of custom made parts such as aluminum flex plates, aluminum C brackets and Custom electric brakes were design to replace the original BV drum air brakes to fit the duro struts.
Last week I maiden the bandit and as expected it was flawless. A few clicks and it was flying straight as an arrow. Another amazing project from the Rocket Factory.... Thank s a lot Danny. The bandit is powered by the new Jetsmunt M166TS (166N), MKS HV servos, Cortex Pro (of course), Rex12 & R900, Xicoy LGC15, and all running one one 3 cell Lipo 4000mah pack (3 flights 67% remains).. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rcu...1b7b3e50c4.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rcu...8d1acd6e24.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rcu...f2dbe907b1.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rcu...86398e9dd6.jpg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rcu...09458e4d68.jpg |

Very nice, it must be wicket fast with the 166, my Ultra Flash is flying on one and she books. I would really like to see the aluminum flex plates? Not a big fan of the carbon units from BVM, have had to replace then more than once in my MKII.

Holy Moly that must be quick.. ;)
I love how simple the install is with a modern turbine. . I compare your pic above to the first Bandit I built.. There was so much more stuff to cram under the hood. |

I have used titanium plates on my Super Bandit for many many years... the main flex plates for MKII are different so Danny had to custom make them. Im using the metal plates only for the mains... the nose is still BV carbon flex arms. If you want those plates for your main, contact Danny at Aeropanda.
