What’s coming 2020?
I wasn’t going to bother with this thread this year but it’s been a bit quiet on RCU lately so thought I would Just do it anyway even though it probably won’t get a lot of responses The usual what’s coming next year... Jets and and jet related products. Please don’t turn this into a wish list |
The unstoppable trend towards 30-45N microturbines, affordable, smaller airframes. and the end of uber large jets.
When manufacturers like Xicoy sell over 250 engines in less than 4 months it is newsworthy. dw |

thx Behzad
will do! I have the mini Avanti / X45 already and another X45 needing a home! dw |
This is perhaps the ideal time (and thread) to mention that the forthcoming RCJI magazine, being published next week, has been hugely extended (an extra 28 pages!) to allow us to print a fully detailed report of the JetPower show. This report is a massive 40 pages long, with 140 photos, and covers all the new products announced at the show, as well as others that were too new to be displayed. As a way of finding out what is new and due out in the first half of 2019 there is nothing to match!
As per usual paper copies and subscriptions can be bought through our website at www.rcjetinternational.com with digital copies available through pocketmags. Colin Straus RCJI Magazine and Ripmax |

Oh well gonna be quiet next year ;) |
I would like to see Jetcat to update the P60 SE with a Brushless Pump, fully integrated Kero start to the same standard as the rest of their range.
May be in for a long wait though, I think if it was going to happen they would have done it by now, waiting in anticipation |

Has anyone built and flown the "Version 2" Carf A-4?

Heard about an A-10 Dual 85's and an F-35 not sure of the size of that though

Hi Dean, check out the litte Seb Art MB339. I am building one and it is great. Behzad Iwould take a look at the way the gear mounts are attached to the spars in the wing. The spars are very fragile whilst the gear monts are much stronger. I had a K30 in my MB339 that was garbage and it kept stopping. A heavy landing ensued that broke my wing spars whilst leaving the mounting plates intact. These are hard to repair so I suggest that you beef them up now. I aslo found that the wheels and struts where not up to much so Got some jet 1A legs and Robart wheels. Nice model with the X45. No need for flap on take off with this engine and only half flap on landing. Also bring it in with a tickle of throttle as the rsidual thrust is so slow it can slow down too much. John |
