F22 origin?
 

I inherited an F22 sometime ago but I have no information on its origin or any manuals to confirm possible flying characteristics, control throws and the CG. Can any one help? Dimensions and construction detail is contained in a post below.

I'd say your best bet to finding that answer will be to provide construction composition and dimensions.

Wing span is 1.44 meters
Overall length is 2.0 meters
Turbine is 8.5 kg (Jets Munt)
The model is all fiberglass, and appears to have been painted in the mound.
Based on the internal construction which has foam cored carbon fiber bulkheads my guess is that this was a kit designed to be finished by the customer. (I could be wrong here?)
No working airlerons or rudders. Control surface is elevons.

Thank you for the information and link. Do you recall what the CG was and approx control deflections. Also interested in the landing phase. No flaps but did you mix in some flap or does it fly slow enough not to need them.

Just for confirmation, the tanks are 2 plasma bags in each wings ? No kevlar or fiber tanks, is it correct ?
No flaps for the landing, the plane is slow enough for a nice landing.
For the CG, I'll get the manual for you, I sold the plane to a friend and he has the manual, I'll do you a copy.

Just something to keep in mind, don't do the maiden with a lot of cross wind, the F22 has huge rudder surface and without rudder control it can be tricky to manage.

Yes, tanks are two plasma bags. One in each wing. Thanks for your help and advice. At this time of year we do have an annoying cross wind at our flying site. A copy of the manual would be awesome. Many thanks. Your help very much appreciated.

Ok here are the setup details :

-Elevator throws : +/-40mm
-Ailerons (tailerons) : +/-25mm

Elevons are in neutral position when aligned with the horizontal plan of the wings.
CG : tanks FULL and landing gear extended : 130mm at the back of the front hatch

With a 90 type motor, fill tanks with 2.5 liters
With a 140 or 160 size, fill tanks with 3 liters
