Satin vs Gloss
 

HELP Guys - Building a scale turbine jet, the Dehavilland Sea Vixen. Question is - should the jet be painted in a Satin or Gloss finish? Many thanks for your advice and help. Chic

Gloss new from the factory, satin after being beaten by the salt air wind. Models look better satin

We discuss what you and him say about the build. You have always been someone on this forum that I always follow and read carefully. Thanks. Your last discussion was about the Sea Vixen "Fowler Flaps" and the servo buzzing. I appreciate your comments and I will tell my paint guy at Klass Kote, satin catalyst all the way. Yep, satin/matte is also easier to paint. Worlds easier!
