Less Thrust and Less Exhaust Temperature Jetcat

Hi
dear, In my Jetcat engine the thrust and Exhaust temperatures have reduced from the normal limits. can anyone help

More information.
RPM the same?
Fuel pump voltage the same?

So, ... How old is the JC and what model? Regardless, here are some easy places to start looking: When I had similar issues, the fuel systems were restricted. Could your fuel filter need cleaning? RXi's have filter in the turbine. RXi filters are small and very fine. Could a fuel line be pinched? Could debris from inside the fuel tank be plugging the clunk? (I once had a piece of glue from inside the tank break loose and plug the clunk.) Is the fuel tank vent plugged? If the UAT is compressing at WOT, then there is a restriction in fuel to the UAT. If all of the above are O.K., then I would be looking at fuel pump voltage? Hopefully you have some pump voltage baselines recorded to compare the current reading to past readings at Idle and WOT.

Like Dave said is your motor reaching full rpm. Very strange to have the heat reading go down unless the rpm is down too.

Fuel pump voltage same. RPM are same

A strange phenomenon is that the front section or compressor housing is getting heated comparatively more than previous.

I am not using fuel filters.

Twice now over the years I have had "old" Jet-A, over 6 months old, that gave me lower temperatures, and less power. When I switched to fresh fuel, problems solved.

I once had a solenoid get gummed up / corroded internally...it let enough fuel through to run the turbine normally at lower throttle settings, but would not reach full rpm or thrust. Once bypassed, the engine ran fine, so that pinpointed my problem.

Rpm and fuel pump voltage same. but EGT less

The problem of front section heating is identified. The clearance from front housing and compressor blades was disturbed. i just cleaned the housing with soft emery paper, the problem of heating got resolved.

fancy that... :-)

Most likely the temperature probe moved out a bit.
