Carf G2 A4 Skyhawk
 

Is anyone flying one of these? I have one nearing completion and I would like control throws and CG info if you have it.

A few years ago I saw Andreas fly the G2 at BITW and it looked great. I have some pictures I could post here and maybe even a video. Need to go to a different computer to look them up.

Did you opt for the leading edge slats? I think that’s an option when ordering the G2. Would be great if you could post some pictures of your build. I think it would generate some more interest in getting more of this model in the wild.

I wonder who's making or servicing the landing gear? Last I heard its made by Down&Locked and its either been a hit or miss from these guys lately.

Are CARF still making the A4? I don't see a price on it anymore.

The G2 version doesn't have operating leading edge slats, you glue them into a permanent position. Down and locked made the gear for the A4. It is no longer available. I'm not sure if they are still in business .They are not selling kits because there is no gear for it. I had to wait almost a year for my gear after the kit and gear were purchased.

I can not get control throws or CG info for this model. I have been trying for a year and a half. I can calculate where the CG should be. I would rather go with tried and tested data. There is no manual for this kit only photos on the sale pages from CARF.
