Saddle tank setup

Looking at removing the 1lt Header tank in my Picaro and running both Saddles into the UAT to save weight. Has anyone done this? The Header acts a buffer keeping the UAT full even during an aerobatic flight…my concern is I may run the UAT dry without it. TIA!

Its not a problem. Been doing it for years, on my F15, F 86 and now my F4. Just make sure the clunks in the main tanks are heavy enough to follow the fuel !
