Jet cat engine mount for Kangaroo
What did you guys use to mount your jet cat mount to the fuse. I think the metal is to thin to counter sink. I would like to but blind nuts inside. Just wondering how you managed to mount the mount without the bolt heads getting in the way of the turbine.
Thanks for the help Bill |

RE: Jet cat engine mount for Kangaroo
I used a punch to make a countersink I just hamered it inot the hole to tork the metal downward. Then I driled holes (on top of the screw holes) just wide enough and deep enough for the "counter sink" to sit flush with the mount. I think it migh not be possible to fit it with blind nuts, the wood is just too thick and deep. Also I recomend doing the set-up with 4 washers (each) under the two rear mounting screws. It flies great like this, with no pitch variance with throttle up.
