Just got back from Utah..My first jet meet were i flew a plane. I just want to say it's an experiance you have to feel before you die..The folks are great...Its just one focus...jets, jets ,jets,... Eat maybe a little,.. talk a little,... fly some more jets,...Talk about jets..fly some jets,...eat, sleep ,and drink jets. and oh ya i almost forgot..FLY JETS!! did i mention fly jets...... The Roo was great.. flew just fine with no prob's...got 4 flights on friday and 6 on Saturday with a BobCat flight from Tony F. on Sat. ..... Get this, Tony says "hey Andy, want to fly the BobCat". I figure he will hand me the transmiter in flight and let me wiggle the sticks.. NEGETIVE..Tony says "here is the retract switch, this is the brakes", do a little of this, and a little of that....next thing i know im taxing out Tony's bird, advancing the throttle and shaking like a leaf. Well ..a long story short, i had a blast with the BobCat , Great fun...Thanks Tony!!!!!! Jason Somes was another great guy, awsome pilot. Glad to finaly meet you guys...hey Jack, i love the Roo,you can be my wing man anytime :D .. Gary, keep that hot spot flying, and to all who made it all possible :) !!! Great job... Did i mention you eat sleep and drink jets...oh ya... my camera stinks.. Here are some pics

There good photos, its better then nothing. Can you tell me more about that learjet, looks like its Ducted Fan. Just curious

The lear was twin EDF, brushless motors, and i think 32 cells. great flyer

With the Wyoming plate in the background I'd guess the Lear belongs to Marty Snell,<[email protected]>. His own design.

Now that you have that one out of the way, have you made your plans to attend Superman.

It's like the Indy 500 of jet meets. Long haul from Las Vegas but you want regret it.

Well im not sure on Superman but St. george was definetly an eye opener for me. When i fly my Roo at my local field im the only turbine flyer so usualy everyone lands when i start up. :D But playing doge-em with 5 other jets was wild. Preaty fun. I can see why you need a caller to stand behind you to call the traffic. Superman must have even more planes up at once. WOW.
