Which thread locking fluid do u use ?
 

I'm looking for some thread locking fluid for my DF applications (engine carb bolts, ...).

I hesitate between :

Loctite 243 and 222. Which one do u use ?

I've used both, and find them both to work well in all the applications I've used them in, including .91 DF stuff.

I have used them both. However after experience with both I now use only the blue 242 .
The reason is the "hold" of the purple 222 is simply too light .

As you probably are aware, DO NOT use the red unless you NEVER plan on disassembly.

i use the blue as a minimum. I also have the red and green on hand as well. the red is when I rebuild an os 91. the green is thin and can wick into already threaded applications.

You know, seeing as how its a jet you ONLY want to use BVM Jets threadlock ;) Just joking
