Can digital and regular survos mix

I am trying to finish my roo. I have Hitec digitals for the rudders and when I was trying to Y the rudders into the stearing (futaba 3001) The 3001 was going wacky. I unpluged the digitals and then it worked fine. Does anyone know why this is happening???
Or how to solve the problem??

Thanks

David

Mixing

David,

Try mixing your rudders to another channel as this will give you trim on the stering without trimming the rudders.

Can digital and regular survos mix

David,
I agree with Kevin, if you have the spare channels on your radio, plug teeh rudders into another channel, like 7 or 8, then mix it to your steering channel. That's how I did my Roo and it workd out great. I have a non-digital servo on the nose gear and 2 digital multiplexes on the ruddres.

This way trimming the steering is very easy and it will not effect your rudder trim.
