Roo Q"s
the motor is propped up approx. 1/16to1/8 of an inch you dont have to use washers a suitable piece of ply or something willdo the job. dont forget to use slightly longer screws to compensate

Roo mount
David,
A good starting place is to raise the back of the mount 1/16". Those dimensions are the ID and OD of the washer and do not relate to how thick they are. |
Engine Shim
Almost three years ago at Superman, Andreas told me to put a 2MM shim under the back of the motor to eliminate the pitch down at rapid throttle up from slow flight, such as in a go around. I had a piece of aluminum which appeared to be about 1/16th inch thick, which I cut 1/2 in. wide and long enough to go across the width of the engine mount pylon. I drilled the appropriate hole for the rear mounting screw, and flew both my Kangaroos like that. It eliminated almost all the nose down pitching associated with throttle up.
