Very very nice.

Looks like Thud Gear to me :D. Again very nice job! I like the way you tackled the rotation issue I had not thought of that. Very much like the real one. Looks like it will be strong. I was going to try and rotate mine using the top of the strut. But yours more accurately models the original and looks very positive.

Ah love to dream about the F-105 one of these day's when I have time I'd love to build one.

Here is the last thing I drew. Its a custom lifting eye. The one
in the pic is a test eye and is made of aluminum. Later Darren
machined two from 4140 steel witch we think were able
to lift 40,000 lbs.

Things are getting a whole lot easier to do complex shapes
with a mill.

Thats sweet Eddie, nice work.

PS I just read the article on 3d printers in Popular Science... very cool stuff. I can just imagine what you could do with one of those.

Kim.. That is a great looking drawing..

Yes.. I drew the whole plane in solid works.. Intakes, bypass and wing spars..
A million lines of G code later, I had a plug. It was well worth the effort
because everything fits... Not the case with some of my other plane designs.. heheh
