Any turbines flying near Lakeland, FL
 

Hey all,

Is there any place near Lakeland, FL that I can take my dad to see a turbine model fly either 6/16 or 6/22? Ever since he helped me into this hobby as a kid in the 70's he has always had this fascination with the jets(ducted fan then) but we have never gotten out to see one. I would really appreciate it if I could get directions to a field where they might be flying.

We are usually there by 9 in the morning if the weather is ok. Just get with me a day or two before coming so we can arrange a time to meet since our field is gated.
