Can someone tell me the thrust angle to mount the engine(Jett 120) and anything else I should know?

Thanks

RE: Kangaroo with a Prop,Need Help

I had a kangaroo with an OS 1.08 on it. Becareful not to ever-rotate or you will hit the prop, the airplane will b very light and the kangaroo hop is more prevalent then ever, and it DOES NOT fly the same as with a jet on it. It still flies well, but just not the same. I believe my thrust angle was level with the datum line, but I am not 100 percent sure.

RE: Kangaroo with a Prop,Need Help

With the assembled motor mount on it, it has 5 degrees of up thrust with the 1.20 .

For a turbin installation it says to put 4 washers under the front of mount, giving Down thrust of the turbin.

Could it need all the Up thrust from prop "P" factor?

I would think that with all the up it would contribute to the Kangaroo Hop???
