RE: where to start
Assuming you are comfortable and proficient at flying high speed r/c planes, I say the first thing you need to do is to decide what your budget can support and whether you will use ducted fan power or turbine power.

RE: where to start
i had a look at Als Hobbies site but it all seems to be ARTF stuff, are hese best to start with before going on to build that dream jet from a kit/plan, for me half the fun of the hobby is the building and the satisfaction of flying something you built

RE: where to start
Just a tip jets aren't cheap I know I have 4 models the mistake I made at the start was trying to do it on the cheap no good. One model company which does seem cheap but good quality is rsjets I have one of there migs which is currently being reviewed in rcji cheap hense alot of work needs to be done - put a wren 14lb thrust in it and away you go. Have a look on the jma website for info on rsjets they also do an F16
good luck |
