Decals
Hi All
I am not too far from finishing a Trim F86, I just wondered if you guy's might have any thoughts on Decals. ie. any preferances on either PRO-MARK or AEROLOFT Designs. Thanks for any input Tony |
RE: Decals
I prefer Hewlett Packard or Epson. But then, you got to have skills in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop before you get to that point.
Way cheaper too. |
RE: Decals
I recently downloaded the Illustrator Trial for 30 days and drew mine up myself. Local sign shop here is cutting them for me fo $40 total for all my markings. Was time consuming, but right. (I had difficult markings that are not stocked by anyone as well.)

RE: Decals
LOL Jason.
Nice Raptor brian. Your local sign shop can cut vinyl paint masks from Illustrator vector files. Just an FYI. Paul |

Thanks Paul
I got a lesson from Mr Kramer at Florida jets on the use of vinyl spray masks i think i need to practice for about 30 years to come up to his standards, its much easier using dryset decals for me. ps the gentleman on the left is not Mr Kramer |
RE: Decals
Thanks Brian (weasel33) at least you answered the question.

RE: Decals
I have used Pro-Mark in the past and they do a great job. On my current project I bought some water transfer paper and will print my own. There is a great article in the current AMA on how to do this.
