Some time ago i was having problems getting various websites to work.
I was advised by some kind person to download java to get my appelets to work,i did this and it worked perfect.
But i have had to format the computer and now i want to know which program to download.

Depending on the browser - you will need to make sure that the "security settings" allow Java and Javascript for most pages - all of the necessary Java and Javascript should already be in a new install

In Internet Explorer - go to 'tools' then Internet options - then security

A buddy couldn't get IE to support certain Java scripts no matter what settings he made until he installed the stuff direct from Sun. Don't ask me. It just cleared up his problems such as you suggest. I think the Sun stuff comes packaged with Opera.

Just downloaded java,now it,s up and running.
