Tam: There are a couple of pics here to help start your pictures how to place your smoke tube. (did I get the mounting correct as far as those welded tabs go)? Also anyone see a problem that I put the fuel shutoff valve right next to the turbine? I also added a second smaller grommet for several lines so they did not chriscross. Thanks

Ken, you've now got every accessory known to man on that Roo, including smoke! When is it gonna fly? I'd stop worrying about adding more stuff and just see if it flies well first, then worry the other stuff. Go to it man! We are all waiting for the good news. When is the first flight scheduled? Best of luck.

Im only killing time playing with these things. Now shooting for this Saturday. Depends on many things including the size and layout of the field (never been there), weather, etc. We don’t have the luxury of so many good fields here in NY. Actually there is only one,… and that is a story coming in the next couple of days. Big / Huge

We don't need no stinkin' field!

Where there's a will, there's a way, bro!

Just remember summer's about 1/2 over for you and the days are getting shorter. Aren't there a few desolate roadways or business parks, etc., with 2-4 lane roadways that aren't used much on weekends where you could fly with a spotter? My brother-in-law and I occasionally fly on Highway 36 in Eastern Colorado when I'm visiting. On weekends the traffic can be as low as one car every 20 minutes.

I agree with woketman. Keep the accessories and whiz bang stuff to a minimum until you learn the airframe, then add stuff to it later as you desire.

Thanks Tom. Actually I like flying in the fall right up to the first heavy snows. Years ago I soloed on such a day. Spent a whole summer learning then In very late november with only myself there I finally did it. It was something I had to do by myself. If I had screwed up only I would have known. Ken

Let me know if you want a MUCH larger copy. I have two showing off Tam's Roo with the Smoke on. The original picture is five times larger than that.
