Super reaper

I getting ready to start a super reaper! Just wondering, how many reaper fliers added flaps or speed brake etc. How about rudder installations Any building modifications would be very helpfull!

How about serovs for the canards? What type are you using? do they need to be high torque?

Do I need to mix the canards with the ailerons as well as the elevators?

Thanks
Don

Easy build. I mounted the rudder servos in the fins. Not the prettiest way, but sure works good. The plane will come out nose heavy, so put the batteries close to the cg. I have a P-80 on mine.

Don,

I just posted several pictures of my Reaper setup -
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/Supe...1758482/tm.htm

I am planning on grouping all my pictures from start to finish that I took and placing them up on my website. I'll go ahead and post the URL to it once I'm done.

But to answer your question, I constructed servo mounts for my rudder servos that mount just above the turbine mount rails and up front of the turbine.

jetsett,

Here are a couple of pic's showing my rudder servo/linkage setup... and yes; a speed brake can be done.

It really doesn't need a speed brake...it can be easily slowed down by raising the nose, or cranking it into a turn.... wheel brakes are recommended though, especially for a short field....http://www.rcuniverse.com/gallery/ga...thumb-5538.jpg
