Question..... can anyone tell me how the Jettronics sequencer works
i will be using spring air and will have to main doors and two front leg doors

Please tell me what you would like the sequencer do for you and what equipment as far as valves (servo operated or electronic) you have. Please tell me if you want the doors to be closed when the gears are down or you want the doors to be open when the gears are down.

I will try to give you step by step procedure..

i intend to use jettronics single action electronic valve
for the gear and would like a simple operation ---- doors open slight delay gear down
gear up delay on doors closing.

is this possible

Hi Brian;

Yes, you can use the single action jet-tronic valve for your gear, since you are using spring air, but you need to use a DOUBLE action jet-tronic valve for you gear doors (one action to open the doors and the other action to close the door). Here is the procedure:

1. Plug your sequencer to the gear channel on your reciever
2. Plug your single action valve for the gears to GEAR on the sequencer (note the polarity)
3. Plug the Double action valve for the doors to D1 on the sequencer (note the polarity)
4. With a small screw driver move the dial to point to SP (Switching Point). Count the clicks as you move the dial and make sure you are pointing to SP.
5. Turn on your transmitter and move your gear switch to"gear in" position
6. Turn on your reciever and after about 2 sec. switch the transmitter to "gear out" position.
7. Now turn the dial back to MODE 2 on the sequencer.. Count back the clicks and make sure you are in Mode 2

Please note that sometimes if you use the Jet-tronic valve they need to be programmed with that blue button. You can test your sequencer on the bench by pluging in servos in the sequencer (Gear position and D1 position) and see how the servos travel in SEQUENCE.

I think the Jet-tronic sequencer is very complicated. There are other sequencers in the market which are simpler to operate.

I just got my new jet-tronics door sequencer. it has a d1,d2,d3
can you please tell me what is d1,d2,d3
does this mean one for each door, or one for each mode of operation?

Hi Sabre-RCU

If you have all your gear doors linked together through one valve (either servo operated or electronic) use D1. If you want your mains to close and your nose door to stay open plug your main valve to D1 and the nose valve to D2 and set the dial to MODE 3.

D1, D2 and D3 are for the door valves and MODE 1, 2 or 3 is how you want the sequencer to act. If you want to know what each Mode does let me know.

it has been a while, but I tried setting up my jet tronics sequencer today.
I managed to program the operation & delay , but the servos were jittery. (dancing like crazy)
did anyone had similar problems? what can I do?
