I know there are a few of you out there that have done some at home static thrust tests after receiving your motors. I would love to know if all the numbers have been in line with manfs. claims.

I am mostly interested in the 25 plus pound motors, any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ray,

Just a note... To make sure the info is accurate, the thrust figures should probably be accompanied by a description of the measurement tool. ex: fish scale, force gauge, hunk of lead lifted off the ground by a cable :D , etc.

I have seen and used 'accurate' scales from a local 'all in one' auto supply store that can vary by +/- 4 lb at the 30lb mark. :rolleyes: We use a properly calibrated force gauge when benchmarking an engine prior to shipment.

My RAM 500 made 10.5lb when new, it now makes 11.75lb after tweeking.

tested properly on calabrated gauge.

Kelly very good points. The emails that I have received are all giving the parameters as you mentioned.

It is good to know that of the responses that I have received thus far, all the motors out of the box perform as advertised.

On the Tour, as of stage Eleven, it has been officially renamed De Tour De Lance. Man, OLN has me glued three times a day, bravo to those guys.
