Grumman X-29
Hi,
In recent threads there was mention by a member that he was looking for X-29 drawings. Unfortunately, I could not locate that thread again and hopefully would be able to see this. To my knowledge, two people have succesfully flown an r/c jet model, one a ducted fan and another turbine one. The guys that did these planes were Gustavo Campana of Argentina and Mr. Ron Sweeney from UK and I believe the latter also made a write-up in a british r/c magazine about the plane. Both succesfully flew the plane. Well, I have managed to locate a CAD drawing for the interested person. Here goes: http://corsair.flugmodellbau.de/file...an/Bauplan.htm Its a german site and the drawing is situated at the bottom of the list, called X-29 ZIP. It doesnt look like it is a really scale drawn plan but I am sure that with little imagination and a publication source one can turn out a good model. Hope this helps. Regards Reuben Saliba Malta |
