It can fly

Flew my AD F-16 with P-120 for the first time today. Had 4 great flights with no problems other than the gear doors were acting up so I flew with the gear extended and therefore, no high speed runs etc. Flys great, I think it's a keeper. :)[img][/img]

Looks very nice Dick.
How did the build go? AD has a number of designs that I like but I have heard mixed reports. How about access, the hatch looks quite small?

John.

John, The kit is well thought out and builds quite easily. The entire nose from front of wing forward is removable with 5 bolts if necessary. There is a 7x6 inch hatch over the engine, and the pilot tub with pilot can be lifted out for access also. I built this one with an operable canopy, flaperons, and full size rudder with JR 8611 servos throughout. (I've since heard that the full rudder may be a cause for flutter, hovever I feel that with the 8611 servo and short pull-pull pushrods it should be alright. I guess time will tell.)The switch and all fill connections and air gauges are under the engine hatch.[img]

Yes F-16's are nortorious for rudder flutter. I had a Spiderjets one and I massed balanced the rudder. The servo was not nearly so powerful as yours but I had no flutter problems thanks to the balancing.
What I really loved about the model was the ridiculously slow and precise landings. I think you have chosen a good colour scheme too, as I discovered that low vis camoflage really works!

John.
