Be careful if you planning on sending him money first as you might not see your kit for while even if your that lucky. Try asking around as Im sure someone has one they might sell. Rick

I'd try to find one somewhere other than at BP Models. When I ordered mine from him he said it would be shipped right out. Two months and eleven phone calls later I finally got the kit. He also overcharged my credit card by $14.83 and never did refund it or answer any more of my phone calls.

At least you got yours. I waited 4 months. No email replys, no phone call returns. Cancelled the order. At least he didnt bill me. Got a kit at a swap meet, glad I didnt pay full price for it. Not impressed. The plastic is warped and most of it doesnt look like it will hold up without glass reinforcement on the inside. I would look elsewhere if I were you. Too bad, the price is right.

BPilot,

all you have to do is draw some side and top views of it on a large sheet of paper-get some 1/4" balsa and 1/8" ply-build the "box" because that is basically what the fuse and nose is-get out the 50 grit sandpaper-round of the corners-you can do the fuse and nose in 1 day easy. You can scratch built this jet for under $100. Make yourself a foam wing cutter with a 12 volt car battery and nichrome wire and some wood to make the cutting bow with-then cut your own wings out of $10 worth of foam. This is not rocket science-you CAN do it.

BPilot is right. A friend of mine bought the kit and I saw the plans. It is easy to build and its a one piece plane. If you can find someone with a set of plans, I would go that route and build it myself. At least that way you could modify it to closely resemble an F-15.

I've seen these on eBay from time to time. I bought an older kit that had fiberglass parts instead of plastic. This is an easy plane to build, basically two boxes you join together. Foam wing cores were no problem either. Mine weighs 11lbs. dry, OS.77-Byron fan, it will take off of grass in 150 feet. It's a nice flier.

Fiberglass

Hi all, I bought the Reagle Eagle Combo RCNATS had for sale, Great deal! I was just curious, Where do you get the fiberglass parts for this kit?

Charles,

If you are referring to the nose, you can make it out of balsa. A little more work but the ABS (not fiberglass) that came with the kit could become brittle in cold weather.

Hi Mark, I was looking for the tail cones. I am going to put together a bifuticated exaust system for mine to clean up the flow and wanted to put a good set of tail cones on it....

Charles,

There are a few guys aroun here using the Yellow Aircraft F18 ducting in the BPM kits. Yellows tailcones for the F18 or F4 might fit as well. If not, find a drinking glass about the size you need and cover it with some mold release. You can then make your own glass cones by soaking some fiberglass cloth and wrapping it around the glass.

Mark
