Here's my Reaction 54 after 2 weekends and 1 week of evenings. All I can say is this is a nice kit. The manual is very well done and the plans and parts are accurate. I figure about 1 more weekend and it will be ready for covering.

Gary,
Looking good! What turbine are you going to use? My R54 has a P60 and is almost ready to fly. I'm in Chesterland...Far East side

Simjet 1200 for power. I will be using BVM wheels and brakes, I have to make some sort of adapter however to have them work on the wire struts but that shouldn't be to bad.

Gary

Just by the 3/16 axle adaptors from BVM. They have the solid block that allows the brake hub to lock into. Used that set up on my BVM Maverick for years.

sorry dean...you can't do that....i thought of that already.....if you cut off the axle portion of the pre-bent struts, then the remaining strut wire is too short to get the proper height......

Rich, have you looked at using a set of BVM wire struts to replace those that came with the gear? That is what I plan to do but haven't looked at it yet to see if you can do that.
