Goodbye Phantom
 
Well after 80+ hours finishing my f-4 took her out to maiden it today.Needless to say she is in heaven now.Took off and the nose went straight up got it level only to fight it to try to keep it there guess it was tail heavy but anyway I would like to build another one do any of you guy's know anyone who has a george miller or craig avation kit? I would really like to find another one.

If I recall, a jet buddy of mine had the exact same thing happen to his George Miller kit many years ago. Something to do with the stab getting "trapped" be the fan exhaust wash during up elevator movements.

Sorry about your experience with the Miller Phantom. I have built 4 of them (pics of 2 in my gallery) and all flew very well, but none of them were Byron fan powered. All had dynamax fans and OS.91s except one, which had twin dynamax fans with OS.77s. I also did not use the Miller stab mechanism in any of mine. I used the JMP (Tom Cook) unit for his big Phantom.

I wish I had another Miller kit laying around as it would be perfect for twin EDF with LiPo batteries or maybe twin Wren 44s.

I'm converting the Y/A F4 to twin edf and a couple of guys are doing the JHH version. Check these threads.
