Here's a rule I go by

Here's a rule I go by: if your plane/jet cost less than the fuel can, do not install a turbine.

well IMHO dont even waste your money doing anything like that to the gp f14,esp converting it,like the last reply stated the plane cost far less than the powerplant, converting the gp f14 sure wont help the planes cheesy looks any either, maybe thats a lil' edgey to say -again just IMHO.I saw one of these things fly last year, looks nothing remotely close to a f14 for starters and the one I saw flew like crap, you'd been better off trying to fly a free flight plane or throw a paper plane LOL.Not to mention the plane would blow apart as soon as you rotated if it even did make it off the ground & a df powerplant wouldnt fit, dont waste your money on the idea,go all out buy you something like TGA F15 or mig29 that flies awesome, easy to fly,and are nice looking jets(i own both) and you can be flying for around 1200.00 ...my 2 cents and honest opinion

Why did you have to post this question twice? You got the same response on the other thread.

You're right. Better to have said nothing at all.
Sorry.
Just started on the DJ3...it's like...origami. Lots of teeny mysterious laser cut parts...follow the directions and an airplane appears somehow. Got the fuse done in about two hours...

It's a Pilot kit, right? How hard can it be? Start with part numbers 1 and 2. Add parts 3, 4, 5, 6, etc. until you're finished! ;)

At least that's how they used to be built.

to the original post, no way. there is not enough cross section in the fuse to do much of anything. if you want to start out flying ducted fans get a DF kit.
