RE: Duel servos on elevator
Hi Pete I spoke with BV about this a while back and he says not to use a Matchbox that they tested it and had some issues. My CJM F15 running a Futuba 9zWC2 was out of channels and I wanted to try it myself. I installed the MSA-10 made by Futuba. I was familiar with this device having used it on numerous non Turbine aircraft in the past. Well after 5 flights and 1 year latter the MSA-10 works flawless and I have no complaints. But what I do think is happening is there is a slight loss of servo resolution when this type of device is used but when flying you would be hard pressed to feel this issue. Best of Luck Ian |
RE: Duel servos on elevator
No wonder I have to center the other side of my elevator which has the EXPERT reverse Y.. this S$%$ is going in the blue bin.
I had used the slave channel AUX5 in the past but someone told me not to use it. But I think I'm going back with this setup. Like everybody was saying the more stuff you put in your jet the more point of failure. Just my though ..... And when is the JR 16 Channel coming out.... EdLo |
RE: Duel servos on elevator
Flip one servo over.

RE: Duel servos on elevator
Use Hitec or MPX digitals and program direction. Then a Y normally would suffice.
On my MPX 12 IPD receiver there was an issue with the Hitec servos, so I had to put them on separate channels. Used up 6 channels for elevator, aileron and flaps... Lars |
