Second Turbine Jet

Hi all, what do you think would make a good second turbine aircraft
A have a Ram 500 Bobcat which I am very pleased with.
The second aircraft should be about 1000sq. in.wing, about 15 to 17 Ibs. Scale type jet and suit a Ram 500
What comes to mind is a BVM P80 or T33.
What do you guys think of these choices and what do you like.
Thanks Rcpete

Next Jet

I would pick the new BVM F-86. Great kit engineering and perfect for a 500. In fact, BV is flying his with a 500.

Second Turbine Jet

RCpete,
Why not contact Kevin or Ed at Great Northern Models and check out the Trim Sabre? I saw another post where a fellow is flying his with a PSTJ600 12 pound turbine and I am sure it would be excellent for the RAM. It looks very sweet.

And they are Canadian (GNM that is)!

Second Turbine Jet

Hi RCPETE

What surface and how long is it that you flying from.

The Mick Reeves Venom would fit this turbine just fine. But be prepared to spend some time building.

Re: Second Turbine Jet

Hi Pete,
We have a turbine sabre kit in stock and and a duct designed for the SJ1200 that would work nicely with the RAM500. If you are interested, I'm sure a deal could be made. Given your proximity to us, you could easily drop by to examine it in more detail. Drop me a PM to discuss in more detail.
Ed
