After several years and un-answered emails along with un-answerd phone calls. The landing gear for the F-18 are here. The finish on them is not that good. Was it worth the wait? my oppinion, No!
The gear is made from plastic parts and some aluminum. I see CBM now have the price of the gear at $449 and the plane $399. Is it worth the new price? I do not know. The plane requires a lot of work to finish.

When did you pay for your gear? I ordered them in May of 2001. No gear yet.

I ordered the plane in AUG 1998. When they said the gear would be available, I ordered them as well. It was the fall of 1999 I ordered the gear.
4 years later the plane arrived. 3 years later the gear arrived. I will never buy anything from CBM again. They do not answer anything and will not refund your money. I think I will sell the plane and retracts.
